10 years of savoir faire and classy mixology

Architect Flaviano Capriottitakes the opportunity to recount a journey that started from a very beautiful idea “to create a magical place.”

Conceived as the F&B area of the Park Hyatt Mio Lab is a destination for passing travelers, whether Milanese or foreigners, a container of experiences related to mixology to Food, aesthetics to socializing.

Mio Lab’s magic look and made in Italy

The ceiling is part of this somewhat magical vision with the lights figuratively recalling champagne bubbles

A successful architectural magic and harmony also thanks to collaboration with local artisans. Made in Italy understood as wisdom in construction from the laying of marble of the making of unique metal and textile fabrics.

Mio Lab is a place where design and the art of drinking meet today in a renewed guise with new color palettes and textile upholstery made incollaboration with Dedar. Prominent among the fabrics chosen are Dilmun, Samson and Marabou, capable of defining a new language of hospitality through soft textures and warm tones, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that invites conviviality.

Two 10-year anniversary cocktails

For the anniversary, Bar and Lobby Manager Alessandro Iacobucci Visoni designed Italian Touch a pre-dinner offered in two flavors inspired by color palettes.

A cocktail made with saffron-flavored gin, white vermouth and white bitters. The result is a drink with a delicate, enveloping flavor, colored yellow to echo the hues of the new fabric seats.

A second cocktail modern interpretation of the classic Americano, combining Campari Bitter, Punt e Mes and homemade juniper-orange soda. A dry, deep wine-colored drink that pays homage to armchairs.

The cocktail menu is divided into two main collections, Classic and Contemporary

The Classic Collection pays homage to the great pillars of mixology with sophisticated and timeless variations. Americano, Negroni, Collins and Sparkling are reinterpreted with creativity and artistry. The collection is, in addition, enriched by barrique version cocktails that are aged in small wooden barrels for a month, giving the drink an extraordinary smoothness and depth.

Barrel cocktails include:

Vintage Negroni: a bold take on the classic, with Tequila instead of gin, perfectly balancing the bitterness of Bitter Campari and Carpano Rosso Vermouth.

Vintage Carré: a rich, bold blend with Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Courvoisier Cognac and Graham’s 10y Tawny Port.
