Sheraton Lake Como, wellness, haute cuisine and design

The year 2025 is a precious year for Sheraton Lake Como, which opens the season with important news related to the hotel’s redesign and wellness area. The cozy Sheraton, nestled in a private park, is just a 40-minute drive from Milan, leaving the chaos behind and entering a perfect oasis of quiet.

The restyling project involving the lobby and relaxation area was designed by Venelli Kramer architectural firm and architect Corrado Tagliabue.

Sheraton Lake Como remains one of those realities in the world of ” guest-friendly” hospitality. The proximity of Lake Como, which can be seen from the windows of some rooms, the garden, the hills, the flowers create a micro landscape from which one would not want to leave.

Sense of arrival

The hotel lobby was the first place subjected to a small transformation aimed at amplifying the sense of welcome starting right from the guest entrance. In the reception area, brightness was enhanced by large floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a balance of color. The interior flooring recalls the style of the 1950s, drawing inspiration from the materials and designs of architect Carlo Scarpa.

In the center of the lobby, an oval table a refined chandelier suspended from a design by architect Giò Ponti contribute to a pleasant sense of arrival

Sense that is complemented at the reception desk, graced by fine polished rosewood paneling and smiling staff.

The 1950s is also told through the seating and armchairs. Homage to the area is paid to the textile ceiling, which recalls the production traditions of the area.

Sheraton Lake Como and Spa membership dedicated to outside guests

Opened less than a year ago, the hotel’s elegant spa is also open to outsiders as of this year. It has two treatment rooms (one single and one double), a nail studio, the wet area with a 12.50-meter indoor pool as well as a whirlpool overlooking the green area.

Natural elements such as teak and rosewood woods, serpentine stone, porthole windows in the relaxation area, a large window overlooking the garden with its hydrangeas reflecting the blue of the pool evoke atmospheres of bliss.

Plus sauna, Mediterranean bath, experience showers, ice waterfall, relaxation room and a gymnasium with new generation Technogym equipment.

Insium Products

The Spa at Sheraton Lake Como has chosen Insium brand, a company from Friuli, as a valuable partner for the treatment part. All INSÌUM (dream in Friulan) products are vegan and contain no silicones, paraffins, sulfates, alcohols, propylene, petrolatum, sulfates and parabens, or other preservatives.
