MSC, Rinascente and North Sails: A Journey Between Luxury, Art and Sustainability

Msc, Rinascente Milano and North Sails a collaboration to offer summer programming between luxury and sustainability on board the Msc flagship. The concept “En route to beauty” is told through art installations, which explore the themes of beauty, well-being and the emotions of the sea. Rinascente’s six large storefronts, facing Piazza Duomo, feature works of art that tell the story of the values and experiences on board MSC Cruises’ ships, from the luxury of the MSC Yacht Club to haute cuisine to world-class entertainment. MSC Cruises’ Domination Experience also extends inside Rinascente, where visitors can immerse themselves in the Company’s world. The interactive Pop-Up Store, located in the Snake area on the -1 floor features dynamic installations creating a sensory journey. The store features the new North Sails capsule collection, along with the Ocean Cay lamp collection, created in collaboration with Zafferano. In one of the areas, visitors can receive advice and information about MSC cruises. Another area is dedicated to a virtual adventure, and in addition, on weekends, a cozy lounge will host workshops, talks and storytelling moments, led by influencers and content creators, to engage the public and tell the philosophy of MSC Cruises summer programming with itineraries that mix the beauty of the sea, fashion, art and culture. Destinations range from the Mediterranean to Northern European waters with itineraries from 7 to 11 nights. Departures are convenient and accessible, thanks to major Italian ports such as Livorno, Naples, Palermo, Civitavecchia and Brindisi.

Mediterranean and Ancient Wonders, additional destinations include Marseille, a city that combines tradition and modernity, and Barcelona, world famous for the art and architecture of Antoni Gaudí. Valencia, with its futuristic Oceanogràfic and the City of Arts and Sciences, offers a perfect mix of nature and innovation. For those wishing to explore the charms of the past, Tunisia’s La Goulette is the gateway to the ruins of Carthage and the Bardo Museum. Greek lovers cannot miss Mykonos, with its white houses and golden beaches, and Santorini, famous for its breathtaking sunsets and volcanic cliffs. Other stops include Dubrovnik, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” and Ephesus, accessible via Kusadasi in Turkey.

Norwegian fjords and Northern European landscapes with itineraries leading to Northern Europe, where the landscape is dominated by majestic fjords and cities rich in tradition. Cruises depart from Kiel and Copenhagen, taking passengers to Iceland, with stops in Reykjavik, Isafjordur, and Akureyri. The voyage continues to the Norwegian fjords, with stops in scenic Geiranger and Hellesylt, where the meeting of nature and tradition is spectacular. Other stops include Alesund, famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, and Flaam and the bustling city of Bergen, with its historic Bryggen district.
