In the heart of the Eternal City, just a few steps from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, Gran Deroma, the new gastronomic hub dedicated to Italian excellence signed Pietro Rocco Campilongo, already known for the success of Deroma, on Via Poli, has recently opened its doors. A place where international design and authentic flavors blend perfectly, creating a refined and welcoming environment ideal for every moment of the day.
Gran Deroma: a journey between design and comfort
The new restaurant at Largo del Nazareno 13 is spread over an impressive 380 square meters with about 120 covers, distributed in several distinct spaces. The concept, personally conceived by Campilongo, a great lover of design, evokes the elegant atmospheres of Manhattan’s great historic restaurants. Polished mahogany, grit floors, and an exclusive, custom-made dark green alternate harmoniously with leather seating and red fabrics. The result is a sophisticated but never cold atmosphere, made even more welcoming by green plants and clever LED lighting.

The gastronomic proposal: quality, taste and tradition
Gran Deroma is open every day, from 8 a.m. to midnight, with a gastronomic proposal that accompanies customers from breakfast to dinner.
The Bakery
In the morning, guests are greeted by a counter offering delicious croissants, croissants, fresh pastries and small pastries. Those who want a richer breakfast can take a seat at the tables and choose from the dedicated menu that includes savory maritozzi, pancakes and toast, accompanied by the renowned Caffè Circi, teas and herbal teas from “Via del Tè,” and artisanal juices by Marco Colzani, Goi and Terre di Zoe.

Sausage Shop and Gastronomy
A central part of the culinary offering is dedicated to the highest quality cured meats and cheeses, carefully selected by gastronome Marco Lamberti. One can taste, among others, Parma ham “Az. Pelizziari,” larded loin from Martina Franca “Az. Cervellera,” juniper-flavored loin speck from “Fratelli Corrà,” and the exclusive black ham from Aspromonte “Nero d’Aspromonte” aged 36 months, as well as special game meats (wild boar, deer, chamois, roe deer).

The selection of fine and original cheeses includes Italian excellences such as Alfieri goat cheese with flowered crust, Grattacielo (cow’s milk aged with caramel, chocolate and hazelnut), Shortino (cow’s milk aged with rum and pear), Mora (blue cheese aged with merlot and berries), and international references.
The salsamenteria also offers more than 20 references of oils, preserves, honey, creams, pickles and pickles, as well as canned fish, rice, pasta and balsamic vinegars.
From Grill to Pizza
Gran Deroma’s grill offers fine selections of Galli Group’s signature meats, such as Sakura beef entrecôte, tenderloin, sirloin, Scottona loin, chanterelle and Pluma iberica. There is no shortage of seafood and vegetarian options, accompanied by fresh, light salads.

Great attention is devoted to traditional Roman pasta dishes and fried foods, with specialties such as the classic tomato and basil supplì, the smoked eggplant vegetarian meatball, the potato and salmon croquette with tzatziki sauce, and the not-to-be-missed carbonara sphere made with fresh spaghetti.
The pizza, offered here in the typical Roman version, offers a light and fragrant dough, leavened over 48 hours under the expert guidance of pizzaiolo Alessio Casadei. Specialties include the Margheritissima (with Bufala mozzarella DOP, Parmigiano Vacche Rosse and San Marzano DOP), the Raffinata (with zucchini cream, smoked salmon, Burrata di Andria, black truffle and zucchini flowers) and the exclusive Deroma pizza (focaccia base, beef carpaccio, Cantabrian anchovy mayonnaise, capers, mustard leaves and lemon powder).

The wine list and drink design
Gran Deroma’s wine shop, curated by Emanuela Citroni, offers a refined and constantly updated selection of about 350 labels from all Italian regions. Great attention is given to natural and organic wines (70 percent of the proposal), prestigious Triple A wines and sophisticated Champagnes, ideal for exclusive and original pairings.
Gran Deroma, a new address not to be missed
With Gran Deroma, Pietro Rocco Campilongo wanted to create a space of food and wine excellence in the heart of the capital, ideal for those who want a refined but authentically Italian dining experience.
