Angelo Madonia will organize a series of classes in Milan with a team of dancers from the cast of Ballando con le Stelle, the talent show hosted on Rai 1 by Milly Carlucci.
Under Madonia’s direction on April 11 in the Lombard capital starts the new project of Italian Dance Studio https://www.facebook.com/italiandancestudio the school founded by Madonia himself present in Rome and Palermo.
So great news for all dance enthusiasts, who will feel like stars with the Italian Dance Studio Lab method.
The Milanese space that will host the courses directed by Madonia is Studio Gem, on Corso di Porta Vigentina.
Angelo Madonia, himself known to the public as one of the professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars, is in fact also an entertainment manager.
Among the first professionals ready to heat up the runway in Milan under Madonia’s direction are Carlo Aloia and Raimondo Todaro.
Career
His artistic journey began as a child with ballet and later sports dance.
Chosen by Maestro Fabio Selmi, an authority in the world of couple dance, Madonia participated in numerous dance competitions over time, quickly becoming one of the best dancers in the under-21 category worldwide.
In 2006 he was noticed during the casting of the TV program Ballando con le Stelle on Rai Uno, where he participated as a dance instructor in a few editions until 2024.
Among his many television appearances, he was also a dance master on some foreign editions of the same show-dance aired in Spain and Ukraine.
In the same years, he participated in and won major European and world sports dance championships, always finishing in the top six places.
In 2015, Angelo Madonia decided to retire from competition, choosing to devote himself to teaching. The same year he founded his academy-Italian Dance Studio-withheadquarters in Rome and branch facilities in numerous Italian capitals and foreign capitals, including Vienna, Moscow, Kiev and Tokyo.
In courses at the academy, Madonia involves both Italian and foreign dance stars for classes and workshops.
From 2016 to 2017, he participated in the TV format Amici on Channel 5, taking care of the choreography. In 2023, he served as a judge at the World Championship Standard Youth in Hungary, the first Italian on the jury of a world standard dance championship for the sixteen to eighteen year old category.
But Angelo Madonia is not stopping; in fact, his “dance ” steps are taking him to new professional challenges.

Launches this year its first Podcast Steps of Life project in which he interviews the most important faces in dance and entertainment.
“I thought of creating a salon that would let all those people who have left a mark on dance, from dancers to musicians, directors, speak. Prominent figures such as Giuliano Peparini, Beppe Vessicchio, Enzo Paolo Turci are participating, and there will be many more to come.”

Dance is a world of sacrifice where the body is the machine for a dancer and the body over the years changes, has longer recovery times. Dancing remains at the center of my world obviously I am less devoted to the activity of dancing as such. But I remain a professional who knows the dance industry in its complexity and nuances. Italian dance studio is in effect a brand. Milan is a great place to grow further and popularize the pleasure of dancing as seen on television.
There is sacrifice commitment but also fun.
