The second edition of The Queen’s Hat was a great success, transforming Milan into the heart of fashion and craftsmanship excellence. For three days, the Vignale Residence hosted meetings, workshops and award ceremonies, celebrating the hat as a symbol of style and creativity.
The Inauguration The event was opened by Alessia Cappello, City Councillor, who stressed the importance of enhancing made in Italy. A special moment was the recognition of Gabriella Chiarappa, creator of the event, by journalist Daniela Fedi.
Headwear Talent Awards Ceremony
The awards went to:

Veronica Marucci (Celebrity Section) for her way of enhancing the hat as a symbol of elegance. Veronica Marucci, with her brand Veronica Marucci Chapeaux, has been able to conquer the fashion world with her unique creations, worn by international celebrities.
Her hats are true handcrafted masterpieces, characterized by the use of high quality materials and special attention to detail. Her passion for millinery was born in France, where she perfected her art with the best milliners, and her philosophy is that every person deserves to feel unique and secure with an extraordinary hat.

Ranelle Larocque (Innovation Section) for her innovative vision in headwear. The Canadian designer, known for creating custom-made hats, is a leading figure in the international millinery world.
His works are worn at exclusive events such as Royal Ascot and the Kentucky Derby, and his creations are displayed in art galleries. Ranelle fuses art and fashion in each hat, turning them into true works of wearable art. He is also a member of the British Millinery Association and in 2023 received the title of Ottawa’s Top Fashion Designer.

Tanya Kosta (The Queen’s Hat Award – Creative Excellence) for her creative excellence. Tanya Kostadinova, born in Bulgaria and living in Kuwait, found her passion for millinery in 2013, inspired by the movie The Great Gatsby.
His creations have been exhibited at prestigious events such as Palma Hat Week and the Musée du Chapeau in France, and have received numerous awards, including the award for Best Couture Millinery Collection atInternational Fashion Week Dubai in 2021.
Among his most famous hats are Cactus You Crazy, displayed at Harrods, and The Pillars of Creation, presented at the Shangri-La The Shard Hotel in London. She is currently creating hats for the show The Queen of Pearls, dedicated to Queen Elizabeth I.

“The Queen’s Hat” is not just an exhibition or event, but a journey into the art of the hat, an experience that transports the audience into a universe of style, artistry and timeless beauty. Each edition adds a new chapter to this extraordinary story, paying homage to the hat as a symbol of personality, elegance and innovation.
